I Had a Home once, Syria; I Live in Berlin
I Had a Home once, Syria; I Live in Berlin tells the true story of Abdullah Saleh and his tortuous exodus. The front sides are lithographs and woodcuts. The backsides are offset prints of plaster sculptures that represent the centuries of diaspora. The story is told in two books and covers his pre-war life, his escape from Damascus, first to Turkey, then across Europe, and finally ending in Berlin. The attached presentation shows the images in the book. To view this book online click this link. For more information, or to buy a copy, please visit the Contact page.
